Ugh

So as you know my blood pressure has been going up and down for the past couple of weeks. Now I have been getting headaches, and they are getting increasingly worse. So Friday I woke up with a headache, it wasn't that bad but it was there, i took some tylenol and took a nap. When i woke up it was worse and i could now feel my heartbeat in my head and hands. I really thought nothing of it, but i kind of new something was wrong. I met up with my sis-in-law at sam's club and did a little shopping, only for the pulsing in my head to get worse. So i decided to drag morgan to rite aid so i could check my blood pressure, i know they are not very accurate but i figured it would be somewhat right. When i took it it said 165/65....i was like holy shit that is high..i thought it was supposed to be 120/80 (only to find out normal is below 140/80) but anyway.....i called the doc and of course the office was closed..it was only 4:15 damnit! So they paged the doc, once he called back i explained the symptoms and told him what the riteaid machine said and he said that they really aren't accurate, but to come in to the hospital to get checked out. I got there and they put me in a room w/ a woman who was in labor, but not active labor i guess....talk about annoying, all i heard the whole time was heavy breathing and then her husband and son came in and she just got bitchy and then was crying....at this point i was like please shoot me, but anyway they hooked up the b/p machine and it did a reading every 10 mins, they also checked my pee and drew blood. My b/p was flucuating up and down....most of the readings were like 143/82...which is high but all my tests came back normal. So after 1 1/2 hrs i was sent home.

Ya know doctors really piss me off. When i got to the hospital the doc was in the area where i checked in...he didn't acknowledge me, and ya know he didn't even come in the room to check on me or anything he sent the resident doc in to tell me all my results were normal and to schedule a follow-up app for next week.....well no shit, beings i was 36 1/2 weeks pregnant wouldn't the idiot doc know that i will have an appoinment every week until i deliver?! Whatever...this is the doc that delivered morgan-or should i saw caught her and got paid. What a jackass...i am so hoping i don't have him again w/ alyssa.

So anyways....my headaches have been very persistent....all day every day. Sometime they pulse sometimes not. I have been noticing a little bit of blurry vision and seeing spots when i look to the side, these are symptoms of pre-eclampsia. So I go back to the doc tomorrow, i get my group b strep test done, and i am assuming my first internal. Hopefully my b/p is down and no protein, but whatever happens, happens. I am ready! If nothing happens by my next appointment I am going to see if he will separate my membranes, i guess he did it w/ my sis-in-law and she went into labor next day. I am so miserable, I want her out!!! I will post tomorrow about my appointment...if there is no post hopefully that means that i've been induced and am pushing out my peanut.
